Egan was not hurt. No one else in the crash needed medical help. The road sits about 25 miles south of Canton and 80 miles south of Cleveland in Tuscarawas County.

The patrol is still digging into what happened. They have not released any word on speed, signals, or possible charges. The case stays open.

State Route 39 is a busy route through Amish Country. It links Sugarcreek and Dover and carries local traffic every day. This left turn turned deadly in a moment.

Crews worked the scene while the investigation continued. The intersection of State Route 39 and County Road 77 now carries a hard memory for everyone involved.
