Joshua Lehman is 27 and lives in Shenandoah. On August 2 he was arrested in Lake View and charged with murder in the first degree.
That morning a 911 call came in around 10:27 a.m. Someone reported a shooting at a house on East Shore Drive.
When police and medics arrived they found a dead woman inside. She was identified as Rylie-Shea Muhlbauer, 27, of Manning.
Lehman was taken into custody and faces a Class A felony charge.
The case is being worked by the Lake View Police Department, the Sac County Sheriff’s Office, the Sac County Attorney’s Office, and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
Investigators have not released more details. The investigation continues.
A criminal charge is only an accusation. The defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
