The 20-year-old went missing over the weekend, leaving his family and friends sick with worry. Nolanion was last seen on Saturday, August 1, right around Tank Road. He was driving his gray 2018 Nissan Maxima, minding his business like any other summer day. When hours went by without a word from him, his family knew something had gone wrong. He just was not the type of guy to vanish without checking in.
Word spread quickly across the neighborhood as folks started looking everywhere they could think of. Friends shared posts online, drove down local backroads, and kept their eyes peeled for his car. The whole community stayed on high alert through Saturday night and into Sunday, praying for a good outcome.
That search ended on Dry Grove Road in Raymond. Deputies working the area pulled off to check a stretch of road surrounded by heavy trees and brush. That was where they spotted Nolanion’s gray Nissan resting off the shoulder.
It turned out the car had left the pavement sometime over the weekend and struck a tree in a thick tree line. The vehicle had heavy damage, tucked back far enough that drivers passing by could easily miss it from the road.
First responders rushed to the scene as soon as the car was spotted. Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones confirmed that Nolanion was found inside, but it was already too late. Paramedics pronounced him dead right there at the crash site.
