Gem Scott, 5, Late-night Accident Death, Columbus: A cooperating driver remains at the scene after a heartbreaking late-night collision with a young child.

​A driver heading down East Broad Street late Friday night found themselves in the middle of every motorist’s worst nightmare. As the car traveled eastbound near Outerbelt Street, it collided with five-year-old Gem Scott as she was crossing the road with her family.
