Within seconds, the ride ended in a hard crash against a nearby shed, leaving her with severe injuries that would soon claim her life.
The crash happened shortly before 11:20 a.m. near the intersection of Idlewild Road and Albrite Drive. Gibson was traveling southbound when the electric bike began gaining speed on the downhill slope.
