Ashley was inside the brand-new In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls when the shooting started. She was taking care of customers like she always did. That afternoon turned into the worst day the town has seen in a long time.
Three people died that day. One of them was Ashley. Seven more got hurt. The gunman ended up dead too from a shot police say he fired at himself after he opened fire near the restaurant.
In-N-Out owner Lynsi Snyder put out a statement right away. She said Ashley was a dedicated worker who cared about the people who came through the doors. Snyder called the loss unimaginable for Ashley’s family, her coworkers, and the whole company. She said the business is standing with every family hit by this.
The shooting happened outside the place. People were going about their day when the gunfire started. Chaos hit fast. Folks ran. Some got hit. Ashley never made it out.
Jordan Salinas was there. Witnesses and phone video show him stepping up and trading shots with the gunman. A lot of people in Twin Falls say that move gave others a chance to get away. Police have not laid out every detail of what he did, but the talk around town is full of praise for how he put himself in the middle of it.
The case is still open. Detectives are going through evidence and talking to everyone who was there. No clear reason for the attack has come out yet. Ashley’s family, her friends, and the people who worked with her are left trying to make sense of a regular work shift that ended in gunfire. Twin Falls is hurting right along with them.
