Emillio Pereyra died on a stretch of road near North 50th Terrace and State Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a 16-year-old local resident born in November 2009. His death turned a routine neighborhood intersection into an active crash site investigation overnight.
Officers with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department Traffic Division are leading the effort to reconstruct the final seconds before the impact.
